Just a short distance from Hoian, the communes of Cam Chau and Cam Thanh offer a glimpse into the enchanting countryside of our city. Here, you can cycle along peaceful roads perfect for novice riders, while paddling through the mangrove forest provides a fun and engaging activity for all.

ITINERARY

14:30 pm Pick up from your address in Hoian
We will begin the trip with an easygoing ride through the picturesque rice paddies of Cam Chau and Cam Thanh, two charming communes near Hoi An known for their lush landscapes and vibrant agricultural heritage.
In our stop at a local bamboo workshop, we will meet skilled craftsmen who have perfected the art of traditional bamboo handicrafts. These artisans will share their expertise, showcasing intricate techniques and beautiful creations that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region.
We will enjoy a guided paddle to the coco-palm forest, a unique mangrove ecosystem in Hoian. This is a great opportunity to see traditional fishing traps and boats while observing the local community at play. Interact with fishermen and women who still use age-old methods to make a living from the river. After about an hour of paddling, return to our kayak station for refreshments to end the trip.
17:30 pm Transfer back to your hotel by taxi. End of service

• We open from 7:30am to 4:00pm, everyday of the year except for Vietnamese Lunar New Year.

• Light outdoor clothes that dry easily in case you get wet. DO EXPECT TO GET WET.

• Sun protection: sun cream and a brimmed-hat, remember we are in the tropics.

• Sun glasses, even on a cloudy day they can come handy.

• Open-toes sandals/shoes or flip-flops.

• Water proof cases and/or ziplock bags to store your cell phone.

• A sense of adventure and a sense of humor are essential!

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING

IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT

Paddle Boards have a weight capacity of 225 pounds

Single kayaks have a weight capacity of 330 pounds

Double kayaks have a weight capacity of 550 pounds

You should be able of swim and get yourself back up on the board if you fall into the water.and

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A LIFE JACKET (PFD)

Keep in mind that this is a water sport, most likely you will get wet and you might even fall into the water so you need to be able to swim and get yourself back into the vessel.

PFDs (Personal Flotation Devices or Life Jackets) must be worn at all times regardless of your age or swimming skills. You must wearing your PFD the moment you board the kayak or stand-up paddle board before, while and after you live the dock

Please understand that our rentals are not intended to be diving or swimming platforms and your safety while on the water is your own responsibility.

Please keep yourself safe at all times by following our recommendations, being mindful of the depth of water, the water and weather conditions, and other water crafts surrounding your vessel.
